Jaer, now known in the fashion industry, has presented his seasonal collections in Puerto Rico’s most prestigious fashion events: Puerto Rico High Fashion Week (2007-2013) and San Juan Moda (2014-2015).

He has also showcased his collections in international scenarios, such as: Chicago Latino Fashion Week, Republica Dominicana Fashion Week, Missouri Style Week, and Summer Sizzle Fashion Show in Tortola. In addition, his fashion line and commercial designs were presented at MAGIC Pool Trade Show in Las Vegas, Scene Trade Show in Dallas, and Colombia Moda in Medellin, Colombia.

Jaer Caban has also been the go-to designer for many artists. Some of them are: Adamari López, Daddy Yankee, Olga Tañón, Kany García, Lourdes Robles, Melina León, among many others. He also collaborates with the clothing and costume designs of concerts and presentations for artists that present in the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Latin Grammy, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Tu Mundo , Premios Juventud, Casandra Awards in Dominican Republic, and Vina del Mar Chile for artists such as Daddy Yankee, Pitbull, Wisin, Yandel, Luis Fonsi, Olga Tañón, Carlos Vives, Nelly Furtado, Christian Castro, Juan Luis Guerra, Paulina Rubio, and others.

In 2008 Jaer began his role as a fashion design professor at Universidad del Turabo, Gurabo campus, where he has been able to help coach and mentor rising fashion designers.

In addition to his commercial lines, Jaer has been collaborating with the Miss Universe Puerto Rico organization in the elaboration of the typical costume used by the reigning beauty queens. Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2011, Viviana Ortiz wore a costume inspired by the Ponceño Vejigante; Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2013, Monic Perez wore a costume inspired by the bioluminescent bays of the island; Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2014 Gabriela Berrios wore a costume inspired by the Puerto Rican danza and bobbin lace, for which he received recognition from the University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla campus; and lastly, Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2015, Catalina Morales wore a costume inspired by the Puerto Rican creole slab.

Among other awards, he won best collection in Puerto Rico High Fashion Week twice (2008 and 2010); the prestigious fashion design competition La Kermesse; and in Premios San Juan Moda 2015 Jaer won first place as an illustrator, second place in the Cocktail and Gala category, and received th’e two biggest recognitions, “Best Seasonal Proposal for Women” and the “Carlota Alfaro a la Vanguardia” prize.
